Privacy Policy

Silverstone Parts is operated by Silverstone Industrial. This policy explains what we collect when you browse this site, request a quote or create an account, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Silverstone Industrial (“SIND”, “we”, “us”) operates sind-parts.ltd as its compatible-parts channel for compressed-air equipment. This policy covers this website, our quote-request and account features, and any related communication. For privacy questions, write to contact@sind.ltd.

2. Summary

  • We collect the information you give us to answer a quote request or run your account, plus limited technical data needed to operate and protect the site.
  • We do not process sensitive personal information, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work. We do not currently run advertising or profiling cookies.
  • You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data at any time.

3. What we collect

Information you provide. When you request a quote we collect the details you enter or upload: name, work email, company, tax or VAT number if provided, telephone, ship-to country or region, city, postcode, plant or site, Incoterm, purchase-order reference, part numbers, brands, quantities, notes and any attachment you send. We also record the page or campaign that led to the request. When you create an account we collect work email, name, company and business-profile details.

Information from sign-in providers. If you sign in with Google, Yandex or Apple, we receive the identifier and profile information that provider releases to us. We do not receive or store your password for those services.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers log IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used to run the site, diagnose faults and protect against abuse. It does not by itself identify you.

You must give us accurate, complete information and tell us if it changes. Do not send sensitive personal information through a quote form.

4. How we use it and our legal bases

We use personal information to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation; to create and manage your account; to source, sell, inspect and ship parts; to keep records of orders and warranties; to protect the site against abuse and fraud; and to meet legal, tax, customs and export-control obligations.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering a contract; performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in running a B2B parts business (including site security and service improvement); compliance with legal obligations; and consent where we specifically ask for it. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your consent.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share only what is necessary with:

  • SIND staff who handle your enquiry or order;
  • suppliers and sourcing partners who must see a part number or specification to quote or supply;
  • service providers that host the site, send email, provide security or support the account system;
  • carriers and customs brokers, for delivery and clearance;
  • professional advisers, auditors and insurers;
  • a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, sale of assets or reorganisation;
  • authorities where the law requires it.

Where a provider processes data on our behalf, we require appropriate confidentiality and security terms.

6. International transfers

We operate from China and may use service providers in other countries. Where personal data leaves the country in which it was collected, we use appropriate safeguards, including contractual clauses where required by law.

7. Cookies and tracking

This site uses essential cookies only: a session cookie, security cookies and, where a form is protected, an anti-abuse cookie. They are required for the site to work and are not used for advertising or profiling. We do not currently run analytics or advertising tags on this site. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for consent first and update our Cookie Policy.

8. Social logins

If you choose to sign in through a third-party provider, that provider may collect information about the sign-in under its own privacy policy. We do not control that provider’s processing. We recommend reviewing its policy before using the sign-in option.

9. How long we keep it

Quote and enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, and longer where a contract, warranty, tax, customs or legal obligation requires. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it, subject to records we must retain. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, or isolate it in backup archives until deletion is possible.

10. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please send only the information needed for your enquiry. If we become aware of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires.

11. Minors

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions. Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

United States. If you are a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law, you may have rights to know whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy, and opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

How to exercise them. Write to contact@sind.ltd. We may need to verify your identity before acting. An authorised agent may submit a request with proof of authority. You can also ask us to review, update or delete the data we hold about you.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. No common standard for interpreting it has been adopted, so we do not currently respond to it. We do not use cross-site tracking or targeted advertising on this site.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Material changes will be notified on the site or by email where appropriate.
